In her final role as an ensemble member of Theater Freiburg — she will be freelancing from the next season — German soprano Katharina Ruckgaber portrays Polly Peachum in Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill’s “The Threepenny Opera”. Before the summer break, she will also take on the role of the First Fairy in Dvořák’s “Rusalka” at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe.
