At the Konzerthaus Berlin, baritone Dominik Köninger will sing the eponymous title part in Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy’s “Paulus” oratorio before travelling to Magdeburg, a city steeped in culture and history; at the Telemann Festival there he will take part in a scenic production of Telemann’s opera “Pimpinone”. A recording of this production was just released under the CPO label.
