Rare diamond: Erich Polz conducts the “Symphonic Prelude” and works by Hindemith and Brahms

Austrian conductor Erich Polz and the Bayerisches Ärzteorchester, founded more than fifty years ago, present a wide-ranging symphonic programme: The opener is the “Symphonic Prelude”, which, despite all controversy, is most likely a work of Anton Bruckner; it is followed by Brahms’s First Symphony and Paul Hindemith’s symphony “Mathis der Maler”.
