Young German tenor Maximilian Mayer is adding another role to his repertoire: In February, he will celebrate his role debut as Ferrando in Mozart’s “Così fan tutte”. Judging from Mayer’s past performances, the audience at his home base, the Gärtnerplatztheater in Munich, definitely has something to look forward to.
Christoph Filler, whose interpretation of Guglielmo already met with success this past season, will again don the young officer’s uniform and woo Fiordiligi.
