Austrian baritone Wolfgang Stefan Schwaiger takes on the role of Masetto in Mozart’s Don Giovanni at the Cologne Opera. Cecilia Ligorio directs this new production; she has previously staged La Cenerentola in Cologne with Schwaiger as Dandini. The production’s musical direction is led by Tomas Netopil. We look forward to seeing Wolfgang Stefan Schwaiger in the title role of Don Giovanni at another prominent European venue soon!
