While we continue to enjoy summer in Europe, with its long days and hopefully a bit of relaxation and peace, some of our artists are preparing for their new permanent engagements while others are now taking a well-deserved and much-needed break after an active festival season. Meanwhile, some opera houses and concert venues are already raising a full head of steam after the holidays.
For us there is no doubt: In this new season, just as before, art and culture remain our means to combat violence, oppression, and injustice!
