The German mezzo-soprano Sofia Vinnik will join the as an ensemble member in September 2024. In her first season she will perform as Dorabella in Mozart’s “Così fan tutte” and as Hermia in Britten’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
Her farewell to the Volksoper, not without a touch of sadness after two happy years, will be her interpretation of Mercedès in Bizet’s “Carmen.”
