June ended for\u00a0Sophie Rennert<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0with CD recordings with Joseph Middleton and a surprise last-minute engagement: On very short notice, she and Joseph Middleton pitched in at a\u00a0BBC Lunchtime Concert<\/a>\u00a0at London\u2019s Wigmore Hall before returning, later that month, to make her debut with the Academy of Ancient Music as Medoro in Handel\u2019s\u00a0\u201cOrlando\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This summer, she will return to Wigmore Hall at the invitation of Graham Johnson as part of the \u201cAn A-Z of Song\u201d<\/a>\u00a0project, and at the beginning of August, she will take on the role of Gloria in Francesco Bartolomeo Conti\u2019s\u00a0\u201cIl trionfo della fama\u201d<\/a>\u00a0at the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music under its new musical director Ottavio Dantone. At the end of the summer, she will join Louise Alder, Patrick Grahl, Konstantin Krimmel, Helmut Deutsch, and Michela Sara De Nuccio for one of the popular\u00a0ensemble lied recitals<\/a>\u00a0at the Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg.<\/p>\n
