After ten years and nine successful opera productions\u202f\u2014\u2009a tenth fell, like many, victim to measures to contain the COVID-19 pandemic\u202f\u2014\u2009Johannes Wildner<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0says goodbye as the conductor and artistic director of\u00a0Oper Burg Gars<\/a>. In his final season, he conducts Verdi\u2019s \u201cAida\u201d in a production directed by Philip Harnoncourt. The performance on July 25th will be conducted by Swedish conductor\u00a0Jon Svinghammar<\/strong><\/a>. Taiwanese soprano\u00a0Li Keng<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0makes her role debut as Aida, while Spanish tenor\u00a0Oscar Mar\u00edn<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0returns to Gars as Radam\u00e8s.<\/p>\n
