In June, at the\u00a0Vienna Musikverein<\/a>, Swedish conductor\u00a0Jon Svinghammar<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0will twice be on the rostrum for concerts: first with the Vienna Academic Philharmonic with works by Richard Strauss, Carl Maria von Weber, and Anton Bruckner, and later with the Orchesterverein of the Society of Music Friends Vienna offering a programme of Richard Strauss, Bernhard Krol, and Anton\u00edn Dvo\u0159\u00e1k. Meanwhile, rehearsals are also beginning for the opera festival\u00a0Oper Burg Gars<\/a>, where he will be conducting Verdi\u2019s \u201cAida\u201d this summer.<\/p>\n
