D\u00e9nise Beck<\/strong><\/a>, Danish-German soprano, celebrates Good Friday in Copenhagen\u2019s Holmen Church with Pergolesi\u2019s\u00a0\u201cStabat mater\u201d<\/a>. Later in April she sings the soprano part in Henryk G\u00f3recki\u2019s Symphony No. 3, also known as the \u201cSymphony of Sorrowful Songs\u201d; the work serves as the musical foundation for an evening of ballet, choreographed by Crystal Pite with the Norwegian Opera at Oslo:\u00a0\u201cLight of Passage\u201d<\/a>\u00a0is a close look at the humanitarian catastrophe caused by the 2015 European migrant crisis.<\/p>\n
