The Komische Oper Berlin is losing its director of ten years: Barrie Kosky. He ends his tenure with\u00a0\u201cBarrie Kosky\u2019s All-Singing, All-Dancing Yiddish Revue\u201d<\/a>, described as \u201ca deliciously comedic, campy crazy, supersexy revue, sung entirely in Yiddish, sure to touch the heart and captivate audiences.\u201d<\/p>\n

But Kosky is not the only one to leave; baritone Dominik K\u00f6ninger also has a small tear in his eye as he leaves his friends and colleagues behind after ten happy years. Kosky\u2019s \u201cYiddish Revue\u201d will be the last production to see him participating as a member of the ensemble; as of the upcoming season he will be freelancing, for instance as\u00a0Billy Budd<\/a>\u00a0at the Musiktheater im Revier.<\/p>\n
