Austrian coloratura soprano\u00a0Ilia Staple<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0takes advantage of the renewal of cultural life to demonstrate her versatility both as a singer and as an actress: Interspersed with her performances as Franziska Cagliari in Johann Strauss\u2019\u00a0\u201cWiener Blut\u201d<\/a>, she sings the soprano part in\u00a0\u201cAmor\u2019s Fest\u201d<\/a>, billed as a \u201cbaroque spectacle with song and dance\u201d, assembled and adapted by Howard Arman who also is at the rostrum. Oh, and in addition to those two demanding parts, Ms Staple also will delight her audience in one of her favorite roles, the Queen of the Night in Mozart\u2019s \u201cThe Magic Flute\u201d.<\/p>\n
