The\u00a0Theater Biel-Solothurn<\/a>\u00a0already had to postpone the premi\u00e8re of Rameau\u2019s\u00a0\u201cZa\u00efs\u201d<\/a>\u00a0with\u00a0Wolfgang Resch<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0as Cindor into April, but this new date is by no means certain. But as the old saw goes, hope springs eternal, and the cast is busily rehearsing under the direction of Anna Drescher and with Andreas Reize conducting.<\/p>\n

A very similar situation prevails in France where, on April 15th and 16th,\u00a0Wolfgang Resch<\/a>\u00a0is supposed to be on stage as Orsan\u00e8s in Reinhard Keiser\u2019s opera\u00a0\u201cCr\u00e9sus\u201d<\/a>\u00a0at the\u00a0Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Roger Barat Herblay<\/a>. It is not yet clear whether the production created by French opera company\u00a0Arcal<\/a>\u00a0can be performed in front of a live audience or whether it will at least be recorded.<\/p>\n
