Invited by Graham Johnson to contribute to his multi-volume edition of every lied by Brahms, mezzosoprano Sophie Rennert<\/strong><\/a> joined the pianist to record the project\u2019s just-released \u201cVolume 10\u201d<\/a> with him for hyperion records. At the same time, na\u00efve released a new recording of Vivaldi\u2019s \u201cTamerlano\u201d<\/a> with the Accademia bizantina under Ottavio Dantone; Sophie Rennert sings the part of Irene.<\/p>\n

In Berne, Ms. Rennert\u2019s voice can soon be enjoyed in a concert with Berne\u2019s first and foremost Early Music ensemble, the Freitagsakademie<\/a>, with rarely heard arias by Vivaldi.<\/p>\n
