Wearing his hat as artistic director of the Oper Burg Gars Festival,\u00a0Mo. Johannes Wildner<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0just concluded his sixth successful festival summer; for those who were unable to attend in person, the festival web site has video clips of this year\u2019s\u00a0\u201cFidelio\u201d<\/a>. In September, Johannes Wildner joins the\u00a0Sonderjylland Symfoniorkester<\/a>\u00a0in S\u00f8nderborg as the orchestra\u2019s new Principal Conductor; his debut offering to the public are three concerts with works by Nielsen, Beethoven, Stravinsky, Elgar, and Sibelius.<\/p>\n

He also looks forward to meeting the students in his his (fully booked)\u00a0conducting master class<\/a>\u00a0in the context of the International Masterclasses Berlin. Mo. Wildner\u2019s class, with Mozart as its only and exclusive topic, will explore the great composer\u2019s work in all its nuances and aspects.<\/p>\n
