At the close of an intense but very rewarding season that saw her on the stages of the Mannheim Opera and Berne Opera, among others, Austrian mezzo Sophie Rennert<\/strong><\/a> is looking forward to a summer full of varied concerts and lied recitals. At the Styriarte festival in Stainz, she sings Schubert\u2019s Mass No. 6 in E-flat major, at the Early Music Festival in Innsbruck she sings the part of \u201cPiacere\u201d in Handel\u2019s \u201cIl trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno\u201d, and at the Schubertiade, the<\/em> great Schubert festival, in Schwarzenberg, pianist Helmut Deutsch accompanies her recital of lieder by Schubert to poems by Friedrich Schiller.<\/p>\n
