To celebrate the 300th anniversary of Leopold Mozart\u2019s birth, the\u00a0Bayerische Kammerphilharmonie<\/a>\u00a0recently presented its recording of the composer\u2019s\u00a0\u201cMissa solemnis in C\u201d<\/a>\u00a0under the baton of Alessandro de Marchi, with\u00a0Sophie Rennert<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0singing the alto part. Best of all, this outstanding example of a solemn mass is also performed in Augsburg, as part of the\u00a0Deutsches Mozartfest<\/a>, and with the same excellent cast!<\/p>\n

The very next day, Sophie Rennert will share the stage at the\u00a0Internationales Lied-Festival Zeist<\/a>\u00a0with Wolfgang Resch; invited by Graham Johnson to offer a\u00a0Reading and Recital<\/a>, they will present lieder by Franz Schubert, George Bizet, Francis Poulenc, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Gustav Holst, Benjamin Britten and David Newbold.<\/p>\n
