In December, while continuing to perform Angelina\u2019s role in \u201cLa Cenerentola\u201d at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, Sophie Rennert<\/strong><\/a> also sings the alto parts in Bach\u2019s Christmas Oratorio BWV 248, backed by the L\u2019Orfeo Baroque Orchestra and the Chorus sine nomine under Johannes Hiemetsberger\u00a0\u2013 twice at the Musikverein Graz, followed by a performance at the Musikverein Wien and one at the Brucknerhaus Linz.<\/p>\n

Just in time for Christmas, she also visits Leeds again, where pianist Joseph Middleton and the Austrian mezzo offer a recital with a Christmas-oriented programme as part of the \u201cLeeds Lieder\u201d festival.<\/p>\n
