She also regularly devotes herself to lesser-known composers. A CD has now been released featuring works by M\u00e1ty\u00e1s Seiber (1905\u20131960), a student of Kod\u00e1ly, who was born in Hungary and lived and worked in England from 1935 onwards. On this album, Katharina Ruckgaber sings\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpc.de\/jpcng\/classic\/detail\/-\/art\/matyas-seiber-solo-works-with-orchestra\/hnum\/12595833?utm_source=newsletter&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=2026-04-e\"><em>4 Chansons populaires fran\u00e7aises for soprano &amp; string orchestra<\/em><\/a>\u00a0with the W\u00fcrttemberger Philharmonie Reutlingen under Fedor Rudin.<\/p>\n<p>At the Alte Oper Frankfurt, she will appear in a concert in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alteoper.de\/de\/festivals-und-highlights\/2-horen\/183?utm_source=newsletter&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=2026-04-e\">2\u00a0\u00d7\u00a0H\u00f6ren<\/a>\u00a0(\u201c2 \u00d7 Listening\u201d) series, this instance being dedicated to works by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. This concert series offers the audience deeper access to central\u2014and also less well-known\u2014works of the chamber music repertoire. After an initial hearing, a workshop discussion follows, addressing background to the work\u2019s creation, compositional features, and questions of interpretation.
