Against this very personal backdrop, his production of Rimsky-Korsakov\u2019s opera\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.staatstheater-wiesbaden.de\/spielplan\/kalender\/schneefloeckchen\/984\/\"><em>The Snow Maiden<\/em><\/a>\u2014about a girl who grows up in eternal ice and longs to meet other people\u2014draws a connection to a world beyond the climate tipping point and to the ways in which society responds.
