In the new production of Verdi\u2019s\u00a0La traviata<\/em><\/a>, the Hessian State Theatre Wiesbaden fields two casts from its own ensemble\u2014with many role debuts, including\u00a0Katleho Mokhoabane<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0as Alfredo Germont and\u00a0Sascha Zarrabi<\/strong>\u00a0as Gastone. Tom Goossens directs in a co-production with Opera Ballet Vlaanderen; the musical direction is by the theatre\u2019s General Music Director, Leo McFall.<\/p>\n

Katleho Mokhoabane<\/strong>\u00a0can also be heard together with Sarah Yang\u2014who also appears with him as Violetta Valery\u2014in a\u00a0lied recital<\/a>\u00a0in the theatre foyer.<\/p>\n
