In my experience, I see children participating in rehearsals, concerts, and opera performances from a very young age. Some also play instruments themselves. Later on, their headphones play not only rap, pop, or hip-hop but also, just as naturally, classical music. To ensure that this openness and curiosity towards all kinds of music isn\u2019t just a privilege for children of musicians but available to all children and young people, we need accessible and vibrant early musical education. This can be achieved through our schools, children\u2019s groups, and activities by orchestras and theaters, among others. It is scientifically undisputed that music benefits not only our souls but also our brains.
