For his portrayal of Pisandro in Monteverdi\u02bcs\u00a0\u201cIl ritorno d\u02bcUlisse in patria\u201d<\/span? at the Vienna State Opera, South African tenor\u00a0Katleho Mokhoabane<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0was nominated for the\u00a0Austrian Music Theatre Award<\/a>\u00a0in the Best Male Newcomer category. As a member of the\u00a0Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0ensemble, he now appears on stage in the revival of Beethoven\u02bcs\u00a0\u201cFidelio\u201d<\/a>\u00a0as Jaquino.
