Alexandra Reinprecht as Hanna Glawari and Daniel Schmutzhard as Danilo Danilowitsch in the new production "The Merry Widow" at Vienna Volksoper

The young Austrian shooting star among the countertenors, Thomas Lichtenecker, will sing the roles of "Un giovane" and "Voce lontana" in Salvatore Sciarrino's lastes opera "Superflumina" to be performed at the theatre of Mannheim. The premiere is going to take place on Friday, 20th May, conducted by Tito Ceccherini, directed by Andrea Schwalbach. Further performances on  May 28th , June 1st and 6th, as well as on July 1st.
