The
Vienna Johann Strauss Orchestra is now on tour in Japan until
15 January. The VSJO was founded in 1965 by a great-nephew of Johann Strauss, Eduard Strauss, and since then a truly original Viennese orchestra, always lead by real specialists of Viennese music making such as Willy Boskovsky, Walter Goldschmid, Rudolf Bibl, Kurt Wöss, Alfred Eschwé, and now
Johannes Wildner. Johannes Wildner will also play the solo violin in some pieces as Johann Strauss did. The concerts take place in Osaka, Tokyo, Niigata, Toyama, Aichi, and again in Tokyo. For more detailed information on the halls where the concerts take place, please refer to our "
